What customers say?

“ Friar Tuck's Fish and Chip shop is brilliant! We needed to feed 27 children and 6 adults on our way to a residential trip. Emma, Jo and the whole team could not be more helpful. They were great when I first contacted them. They were willing to open early to feed the children, so that we could get to our destination. They kept in touch on the day and were all sorted, ready with the food when we arrived. The staff and children were so impressed with the quality of the food and it was piping hot. They were also really helpful afterwards when I needed a copy of the receipt. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so pleased with the service. Brilliant! We will definitely be using them again. ”

“ A wonderful lady greeted us and explained she was alone end there may be a wait, we had 3 children with us and they were looked after first. Our orders came and my large cod was huge, it took up the whole plate and is hidden by the chips in the photo. All the food was superb. Best fish I’d had for ages. Reasonable prices and a clean environment. Thanks all. ”

- Phill Damant -

“ This is a really nice good old fashion (but updated) fish and chip shop. We were impressed with the batter on the fish and the chunky chips were cooked really nicely too. This chip shop is a bit pricey though, probably the most expensive I've ever been in, but the food was nice. ”

- Pete Simpson -

“ Fish Chips and Mushy Peas was Very Good Cooked Fresh, Friendly Staff. My only criticism is the Toilet and Door Could do with a Coat Of Paint. Let's the Place Down. ”
